De iconische E46 generatie krijgt eindelijk de liefde die ze verdient. Solide, karaktervol en een echte BMW. Toen een klant ons vroeg of wij hem konden helpen met de verkoop van zijn prachtige E46 320i Touring zeiden wij daar geen nee tegen. Zulke exemplaren vind je niet vaak en al helemaal niet zo gespecificeerd.

Nieuw geleverd in Duitsland bij BMW Boesner in Bochum op 23-07-2003, redelijk laat voor een E46 touring. Maar dat is niet gek want productie zal even geduurd hebben met deze combinatie aan opties. Allereerst uiteraard optie 490, Sonderlackierung. Uitsluitend voor diegene die net wat anders wilde en daar gerust de portemonnee voor wilde openen. De gekozen kleur is Messing Metallic, zo hebben wij ze nog nooit gezien. Onder elke hoek en hoeveelheid licht komt de kleur totaal anders voor de dag. Van Olijfgroen tot aan Goud en van Bruin tot aan ...
Het lakwerk is in zeer goede staat te noemen, hier en daar een klein plekjes maar hier kun je echt mee voor de dag komen.

Aan de binnenzijde moest het natuurlijk ook bijzonder zijn, want als we eerlijk zijn, je ziet vaker je interieur dan het exterieur!
Als je in de ochtend nog aan je kopje koffie zit, kun je de E46 alvast voorverwarmen met de standkachel, het leven is ten slotte te kort om in koude auto's te zitten. Om het comfort nog net wat te verhogen is gekozen voor het Pearl Napa leer, extra zacht en oh zo mooi. Qua kleur is gekozen voor Light Ecrue, iets wat het interieur ongelooflijk fris maakt. De stoelen zitten als gegoten en ook wanneer je met Golf een rugblessure hebt opgelopen, is middels de lendensteun genoeg ondersteuning te krijgen.

Mocht je een keer geen tijd hebben om te wachten op de verwarming van de standkachel, zijn gelukkig beide voorstoelen individueel te verwarmen. Uiteraard ontbreken de Airco, Armsteun, Park Distance Control en Cruise control niet. Alles perfect werkzaam. Gezien de perfecte achterbank en het feit dat alleen de bestuurder en passagier over een elektrisch bedienbaar raam beschikken, kunnen we stellen dat dit geen stel was met kinderen.

Technisch gezien is de wagen in zeer goede staat, geen op- of aanmerkingen. De laatste beurt dateert van 13-02-2024 bij BMW specialist Gijsbertsen op 27.697 km. Voor aflevering kan de Touring voorzien worden van een oliebeurt, vraag hiervoor naar de mogelijkheden. Waar menig E46 op de markt zich voordoet als fris maar eigenlijk een slap zakje boter is geworden door de jaren heen, voel je aan alles dat dit hier niet het geval is. Precies wat je zou verwachten met zo'n kilometerstand, maar toch het vermelden waard.

Delivered new in Germany at BMW Boesner in Bochum on 23-07-2003, quite late for an E46 Touring. But that's not surprising because production will have taken a while with this combination of options. First of all, of course, option 490, Sonderlackierung. Exclusively for those who wanted something a little different and were willing to open their wallet for it. The chosen color is Brass Metallic, we have never seen them like this before. The color looks completely different under every angle and amount of light. The paintwork can be called in very good condition, here and there a few small spots but you can really show off with this.

Of course, the interior also had to be special, because if we're honest, you see your interior more often than the exterior!
If you're still drinking your morning coffee, you can preheat the E46 with the parking heater, after all, life is too short to sit in cold cars. To increase comfort just a little bit, Pearl Napa leather was chosen, extra soft and oh so beautiful. Light Ecrue was chosen as the colour, something that makes the interior incredibly fresh. The seats are like a glove and even if you have a back injury with your Golf, there is enough support available through the lumbar support.

If you don't have time to wait for the parking heater to heat up, fortunately both front seats can be heated individually. Of course, the air conditioning, armrest, park distance control and cruise control are not missing. Everything works perfectly. Given the perfect back seat and the fact that only the driver and passenger have an electric window, we can say that this was not a couple with children.

Technically the car is in very good condition, no comments or remarks. The last service dates from 13-02-2024 at BMW specialist Gijsbertsen at 27,697 km. Before delivery, the Touring can be provided with an oil service, ask about the possibilities. Where many E46s on the market present themselves as fresh but have actually become a weak bag of butter over the years, you can feel that this is not the case here. Exactly what you would expect with such a mileage, but still worth mentioning.
