Hierbij aangeboden in consignatie, een prachtige Porsche Cayenne 957.
Wat zien ze er nog goed uit. Inmiddels als weer 16 jaar op de weg te vinden, maar ze zien er jonger uit dan de generatie Cayenne die haar opvolgde. Vaak vervaagt de statuur van luxe auto's door de jaren heen, de 957 Cayenne heeft dit nog hartstikke goed voor elkaar. Niet schreeuwerig, maar je gaat er wel voor aan de kant.
Dit exemplaar is vooral uniek door zijn lage kilometerstand. Vrij vroeg naar NL geïmporteerd, bij 15.000 km. De jaren daarna werd deze Cayenne voornamelijk in de zomer gereden, lekker mee naar het strand. Kilometers liepen dan ook niet zo snel op, waarna de auto in 2022 55.000 kilometer in de boeken mocht zetten. Aan alles is te zien dat dit een goed gekoesterd exemplaar is.
De 957 Cayenne lijkt op dit moment echt wel 'the one to get'. Waar de 955 generatie, pre-facelift, een nog al luie 3.2 liter VR6 motor kreeg, werd deze voor het facelift model geüpgrade naar een 3.6 liter VR6. Samen met de 'Direct Injection' upgrade zorgde dit voor meer vermogen (290 pk) maar ook een zuiniger benzineverbruik. Win-Win!
Laten we voorop stellen dat de VR6 geen strepentrekker is, maar wel een motor met een heerlijk geluid wanneer deze gestart wordt. De VR6 is ook een stuk goedkoper in onderhoud dan zijn grotere broer, daarnaast ook nog een stukje zuiniger. De motor draait fantastische en de automaat doet zijn werk zeer goed. De luchtvering werkt ook naar behoren en geeft een comfortabele rit.
Dit exemplaar is gespecificeerd in Meteor Grau met een Steel Gray geplooid leren interieur. De trim aan de binnenkant is afgewerkt in carbon, uniek en erg strak. Het dashboard en de deurpanelen zijn ook uitgevoerd in leer, luxe alom! De lak is nog in fantastische conditie, uiteraard wat kleinere krasjes, maar heel erg netjes. De koplampen zijn ook nog erg fris en met het contrasterende trim aan de buitenzijde is de auto compleet. Vooral wanneer dit gematcht wordt aan de two-tone 20 inch Turbo wielen. Al met al is het echt een hele mooie auto om te zien.
Het heerlijke licht grijze geplooide leer is uitermate soepel en erg zacht. Er is geen schade te vinden aan het leer of aan het interieur. Op de achterbank vind je een plekje waar de kleur van het leer verdwenen is. Licht grijs staat de auto ongelooflijk goed. Het zorgt voor een fris en niet te donker interieur, waardoor het in de zomer ook niet te warm wordt binnen. Het warmte werende en getinte glas helpt daar ook bij! Uiteraard heb je hier Dual-climate control voor om de Airco zijn werk te laten doen. Alle functies werken uiteraard naar behoren, zo ook de elektrische stoelverstelling met lendesteun.
Afgelopen week is de Cayenne bij PSTG te Huizen nagekeken, hierbij is de compressor van de luchtvering preventief vervangen. Daarnaast een frisse APK zonder opmerkingen. Helemaal klaar voor de nieuwe eigenaar!

Offered on consignment, a beautiful Porsche Cayenne 957.
They still look good. They can now be found on the road for another 16 years, but they look younger than the Cayenne generation that succeeded her. The stature of luxury cars often fades over the years, but the 957 Cayenne has achieved this in a good manner. Not flashy, but it does get you out of the way.
This copy is especially unique because of its low mileage. Imported to the Netherlands quite early, at 15,000 km. In the years that followed, this Cayenne was mainly driven in the summer, taking it to the beach. Kilometers did not increase that quickly, after which the car was allowed to register 55,000 kilometers in 2022. Everything shows that this is a well-cherished example.
The 957 Cayenne really seems to be 'the one to get' at the moment. While the 955 generation, pre-facelift, had a rather lazy 3.2 liter VR6 engine, it was upgraded to a 3.6 liter VR6 for the facelift model. This example is specified in Meteor Gray with a Steel Gray pleated leather interior. The trim on the inside is finished in carbon, unique and very sleek. The paint is still in fantastic condition, of course some smaller scratches, but very neat. The headlights are also very fresh and with the contrasting trim on the outside the car is complete. Especially when matched with the two-tone 20 inch Turbo wheels. All in all, it really is a beautiful car to look at.
The lovely light gray pleated leather is extremely supple and very soft. There is no damage to the leather or the interior. On the back seat you will find a spot where the color of the leather has disappeared. Light gray suits the car incredibly well. It ensures a fresh and not too dark interior, so it does not get too hot inside in the summer. The heat-resistant and tinted glass also helps with this! Of course you have Dual climate control to let the air conditioning do its work, and for the cold winter months you can use the seat heating and the automatically heated steering wheel, unprecedented luxury.
