Wat zien ze er nog goed uit. Inmiddels als weer 16 jaar op de weg te vinden, maar ze zien er jonger uit dan de generatie Cayenne die haar opvolgde. Vaak vervaagt het statuur van de meeste luxe auto's door de jaren heen, de 957 Cayenne heeft dit nog hartstikke goed voor elkaar. Niet schreeuwerig, maar je gaat er wel voor aan de kant.

De 957 Cayenne lijkt op dit moment echt wel 'the one to get'. Waar de 955 generatie, pre-facelift, een nog al luie 3.2 liter VR6 motor kreeg. Werd deze voor het facelift model geüpgrade naar een 3.6 liter VR6. Samen met de 'Direct Injection' upgrade zorgde dit voor meer vermogen (290 pk) maar ook een zuiniger benzineverbruik. Win-Win!

Laten we voorop stellen dat de VR6 geen strepentrekker is, maar wel een motor met een heerlijk geluid wanneer deze gestart wordt. De VR6 is ook een stuk goedkoper in onderhoud dan zijn grotere broer, daarnaast ook nog een stukje zuiniger. De motor draait fantastische en de automaat doet zijn werk zeer goed. De luchtvering werkt ook naar behoren en geeft een comfortabele rit.

Dit exemplaar is gespecificeerd in Marine Blue Metallic met een Steel Gray geplooid leren interieur. De lak is nog in fantastische conditie, hier en daar een klein krasje te zien maar niks wat in het oog springt. De lakkleur oogt onwijs chique en dat zie je helaas niet vaak meer bij de exemplaren die te koop zijn. Vaak is het toch het saaie zilver, grijs of zwart. De koplampen zijn ook nog erg fris en met het contrasterende trim aan de buitenzijde is de auto compleet. Vooral wanneer dit gematcht wordt aan de 20 inch Turbo wielen. Helaas hebben twee van de vier velgen een klein beetje stoeprand schade, banden zijn nog zeer goed. Al met al is het echt een geweldige auto om te zien.

Het heerlijke licht grijze geplooide leer is uitermate soepel en nog erg zacht. Er is ook geen schade te vinden aan het leer of aan het interieur. Licht grijs staat de auto ongelooflijk goed. Het zorgt voor een fris en niet te donker interieur, waardoor het in de zomer ook niet te warm wordt binnen. Uiteraard heb je hier Dual-climate control voor om de Airco zijn werk te laten doen, voor de koude wintermaanden kun je gebruik maken van de stoelverwarming en het automatisch verwarmende stuur, ongekende luxe. Alle functies werken uiteraard naar behoren, zo ook de elektrische stoelverstelling met lendesteun. Alle opties zijn te vinden in de beschrijving op onze website.

Voor onze klant op vakantie ging is er uiteraard nog een oliewissel uitgevoerd, safety first. Mocht u een uitgebreide servicebeurt willen bij aflevering dan behoort dit uiteraard tot de mogelijkheden.

They still look good. They have been on the road for 16 years now, but they look younger than the Cayenne generation that succeeded them. The stature of most luxury cars often fades over the years, the 957 Cayenne has still done this very well. Not flashy, but you will pull over for it.

The 957 Cayenne really seems to be 'the one to get' at the moment. Where the 955 generation, pre-facelift, got a rather lazy 3.2 liter VR6 engine. This was upgraded to a 3.6 liter VR6 for the facelift model. Together with the 'Direct Injection' upgrade, this provided more power (290 hp) but also a more economical fuel consumption. Win-Win!

Let's first state that the VR6 is not a streaker, but an engine with a wonderful sound when it is started. The VR6 is also a lot cheaper to maintain than its bigger brother, and also a bit more economical. The engine runs fantastic and the automatic transmission does its job very well. The air suspension also works properly and gives a comfortable ride.

This example is specified in Marine Blue Metallic with a Steel Gray pleated leather interior. The paint is still in fantastic condition, here and there a small scratch can be seen but nothing that stands out. The paint color looks incredibly chic and unfortunately you don't see that often anymore with the examples that are for sale. Often it is the boring silver, gray or black. The headlights are also still very fresh and with the contrasting trim on the outside the car is complete. Especially when this is matched to the 20 inch Turbo wheels. Unfortunately two of the four rims have a little bit of curb damage, tires are still very good. All in all it is a really great car to look at.

The lovely light gray pleated leather is extremely supple and still very soft. There is also no damage to the leather or the interior. Light grey looks incredibly good on the car. It provides a fresh and not too dark interior, so that it does not get too warm inside in the summer. Of course you have Dual-climate control for this to let the air conditioning do its job, for the cold winter months you can use the seat heating. All functions work properly, of course, including the electric seat adjustment with lumbar support. All options can be found in the description on our website.

Before our customer went on holiday, an oil change was of course carried out, safety first. If you want an extensive service upon delivery, this is of course possible.
